Richard is an experienced Finance Professional with over 11 years’ experience in Oil & Gas, Telecommunication and Manufacturing. Having worked with 3 major multinationals, Richard brings to the team world class skill sets needed by companies to operate above industry standards.
Richard currently heads the Finance team of Globex Energy Ltd (a Bulk Oil Distribution Company), providing financial leadership and accounting oversight for the businessand its related companies. Prior to his current role, Richard worked with Tullow Oil (Ghana & U.K) as a Senior Financial Analyst, where he was involved in multiple projects such as the TEN Project, the Jubilee Turret Remediation Project (TRP), amongst others.
He was a key member of the TEN Project Finance team right from FEED to First Oil, helping to implement key processes and financial controls for the US$6bn Oil & Gas project. Richard also worked with other multinationals like Nestle Ghana Limited and Airtel Ghana Limited, as Decision support Analyst and Interconnect & Roaming Accountant respectively
Richard is an expert in financial modelling, financial planning & budgeting, project controls, financial accounting & control, and preparation of strategic documents.
Richard holds a First Class honors in B.A Economics & Statistics from University of Ghana, and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA, UK).
